Martina has practised yoga for close to 30 years and been teaching for 25.

Her personal practice has evolved from Contemporary Vinyasa, some Iyengar based yoga, through to classical Ashtanga as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore India, complemented with Matthew Sweeney’s Vinyasa Krama method, to now solely the Hatha method of Shadow Yoga developed by Shandor Remete.

Martina teaches the Shadow method in Led (Guided) classes for various levels and Self Practice for those who are ready. Ashtanga is taught in a weekly Led Class and Self Practice Classes, along with Vinyasa Krama. She is also available for private tuition.

She particularly enjoys supporting students to find their own innate wisdom within and develop their personal self practice. Her teaching is steeped in tradition yet accommodating to each individual students needs.
